I think I just need to experience more writing to get to the point of where my characters take on a life of their own. I'm going to revisit this article, it reminds me of when I would read a Carl Sagan book, and a hundred new ideas would come to mind. My thoughts would become the fossils laying a foundation for varied adventures strewn in all directions. For now I'm stuck in the Great Unconformity.
